ADB is seeking applicants for three positions at the Pacific Liaison and Coordination Office (PLCO), Sydney, working on the forthcoming Pacific Business Investment Facility

Facility Manager, Pacific Business Investment Facility, PLCO Sydney

Objective and Purpose of the Assignment
Assist and report to the TA task manager in the Pacific Liaison and Coordination Office (PLCO), Sydney, in implementing the Trust Fund and BIF.

Scope of Work
The facility manager will support PLCO in the implementation and management of the Pacific Business Investment Facility (BIF) and the Pacific Business Investment Trust Fund (the Trust Fund). In particular, the facility manager will strategically lead and manage the day-today activities, with one administrative assistant, one M&E specialist, and at least two business advisors and one finance structuring consultant. Staffing may expand and also include coordinators posted in Pacific island countries.

Business Advisor (2), Pacific Business Investment Facility, PLCO Sydney

Objective and Purpose of the Assignment
The business advisors will assist and report to the facility manager, and ultimately to the TA task manager in the Pacific Liaison and Coordination Office (PLCO), Sydney, on his/her responsibilities related to the implementation of the Trust Fund and BIF. In particular, the business advisor will support businesses to increase their capacities and grow through the conducting and/or arrangement of business support services and specific technical expertise.

Scope of Work
The business advisors will support the facility manager in the implementation of the BIF and management of the Trust Fund in relation to business advisory services. In particular the business advisors will strategically lead and manage/implement the following TA output: Business advisory services are provided to businesses in selected Pacific island countries.


Administration Officer, Pacific Business Investment Facility, PLCO Sydney

Objective and Purpose of the Assignment
Assist the Pacific Liaison and Coordination Office (PLCO) Sydney in implementing the Pacific Business Investment Trust Fund and Pacific Business Investment Facility (PBIF).

Scope of Work
The Administrative Officer will support primarily the effective operation of PBIF. He/she will administer consultants' recruitment and contract administration, keep close track of financial and administrative records, assist with procurement of goods and services, provide inputs in updating of the monitoring and evaluation framework, assist with project administration tasks, and assist with arranging meetings and workshops, including logistics preparation.
